Both Ten Mile and Middle Level  produce good results
.
The last week has been interesting to say the least with catches reported from KLAA's main rivers, Ten Mile has again been showing its winter form with catches of roach, skimmers and bream reported, the level throwing up some surprise catches for the predator anglers.
Tmb, plenty of anglers around during the week end all though temperatures did start to tumble, week days were slightly warmer but not as dry, roach have been showing at the bottom end on the klaa stretch at Danby also a few skimmers showing , nets to low double figures have been reported, tip anglers finding the the fish more frequently than the pole anglers, bronze and red maggot working well when presented on the hook, pinkie applied to the ground bait with a dark mix and a few caster did manage to hold the fish in the swim to produce some good catches.Modney to Browns has become a firm favourite during the winter and the fish have not been letting anyone down with catches of bream skimmers roach and perch all showing to the baits on offer, tip anglers have had the advantage during the last few weeks as the fish seem to be slightly out further than the pole line, ground baited swims has held the odd bream in place but skimmers to nearly 2lb have also featured throughout the last seven days, roach have also been showing well and catches have been reported to over 18lb.
Predator anglers have also been finding the fish with a reported 19lb 4oz and 11lb 6oz brace taken just downstream of the railway bridge from a popped up dead bait. small pike and perch have also been showing around the railway bridge stretch.
Middle Level, brothers Gary and Richard Westoby managed a days session on the Level and by roving the bank 20-30 yards an hour a lot of ground was covered after 8 hours of grafting they managed to yeild 6 pike 19lb 8oz,19lb 6oz,18lb 8oz, 16lb 12oz,10lb and 8lb. all caught on dead baited roach and lamprey from margin swims.Else where on the level a few pike have been reported from Neepes - Crooked Chimney pike to 17lb 4oz have been reported.
Little Ouse, a little flow has returned to this old winter favourite but the fishing has been situated around the bridge area, first 2to 3 pegs have been showing the roach, rudd, dace and bleak but other pegs beyond have been struggling. Pinkie and squatt have been the more rewarding hook baits.
Shepherds Port, a fair number of anglers around but not as busy as previous weeks, still alot of silvers feeding strongly on the whip and pole but the waggler has been producing better catches with the roach following the baits down.Pinkie, maggot and bread all finding the silvers, small method feeders are still attracting the carp but small hook baits have been more successful.
