The last seven days has been interesting to say the least, catches have been showing all though conditions proved to be very difficult for most of the anglers during a very blustery weekend,
White horses were on the water at both Ten Mile and the Level with gusts nearing 45mph on Saturday conditions didn't favour any kind of angling.
Ten Mile early on in the week fortunes looked positive as some of the anglers on ten mile were reporting double figure nets, with bream, skimmers and roach showing well on the tip.
Ground baited feeders were used to hold the fish in the swim, casters small pieces of worm and bronze and red maggot were more successful when presented on a small hook.
Predator anglers have also been roaming the banks finding their targeted species.Wissey Mouth - Railway Bridge has been the busier stretch in search for the predator fish, also downstream towards Browns Farm. Modney Bridge upstream to Browns has seen more match men.
.
Middle level a few anglers on the bank but not as frequently visited as Tmb perch small jacks and the odd pike to near double figure has been recorded between Neepes and Mortons.Small silver lures and plugs have been selecting the better fish.
Shepherds Port, Shepherds Lake, all though conditions were not favourable for the anglers on this blustery fishery some anglers did find the fish, silvers feeding aggressively as the milder temperatures arrived. Carp to 8lb were also feeding strongly at the top end of the lake during the weekends winds, pole fishing became impossible but the waggler and feeder did  attract the fish. Maggot and pinkie for the silvers,  small boilies 8mm-10mm have been finding the smaller carp on the method feeder.
