The last seven days has seen a major improvement on klaa,s favoured winter venue, plenty of roach and skimmers and even the  bream have been taking the baits which have been offered, Chapel to Modney Bridge has became a firm favourite of old and the fish tend to be drawn into this area during the winter, again this year has been no exception with a lot of anglers being found in this area, nets to over 25lb have been showing during the last week with  bream and skimmers and roach being the bulk of the nets caught.
Owl box- Danby Drove has also shown a lot of  activity of anglers on the bank with bream and skimmers showing on both the tip and the pole line, Groundbait has been used to keep the fish in the swim, bronze and red maggot have been presented on the hook to bring in some rewards. No net weights have been recieved but estimated nets to near double figures have been recieved.
Denver-Piggeries has also been producing the odd angler finding the fish skimmers to a pound and quality roach have been showing, not as frequent as the other stretches but fish are showing, was the word from this end of Ten Mile. Pike anglers have also been present on the banks between the Wissey Mouth and Browns Farm. a few decent pike have been reported 4 over 20lb reported and another couple between 6-8 lb, also a few jacks to 4lb have been found on this stretch, popped up dead baits and live baits have been more sucsessful than any other method. small plugs and jelly shads have been finding the smaller fish including the odd perch to over a pound.
.
Little Ouse allthough not flowing as usual a few fish have been showing but not like normal years, alot of fish holding around the bridge area but are seldom to move away from the bridge retreat. The first few pegs have been rewarding but gets harder the further away from the bridge.
Shepherds Port, Shepherds lake still fishing very well as the milder conditions continue,as the winds dropped bites became more frequent from the silvers, bread pinkie and maggot has all worked well on both the whip and waggler, tip fishing has been rewarding with the bigger stamp of roach and rudd showing near the middle of the lake. carp again have been showing during the last couple of days at the top end of the lake small single baits have been sucsessful over a tiny bed of feed.Pole anglers also finding the fish between 7-11 meters, small carp and skimmers have been showing on these lines, also plenty of roach and rudd showing over a small baited loose fed area, Ground bait has also been used to hold the feeding fish in the swim.
