The last seven days has proved that conditions are starting to play a key role in anglers targeting their selected species, Only the hardened anglers are still showing on the banks as the cold northerly winds start to arrive. A couple of frosts was also endured by the anglers.
Ten Mile has still seen the bulk of the anglers but the numbers have started to disappear  as the colder climates start to arrive. Roach have been showing well between Modney Bridge and the Chapel also the odd skimmer, pole whip and tip have all  been successful in recent catches. No significant weights have been reported but catches have been achieved. Predator anglers have been fearing well with pike to nearly 18lb reported, plenty of jacks to 6 lb have been showing on lures and perch have been taken on small jelly shads.
Middle Level continues to fish well for the predator fish with Zander and pike being the most acclaimed target. zander to 9lb,pike to 13lb 6oz   have been reported between Mortons - Aquaduct . Pingle bridge has also seen a fair few anglers with a few big specimen showing allthough no reports have been received of these bigger predators.
Shepherds Port, shepherds lake has again seen  plenty of roach and rudd feeding strongly, bread ,pinkie and maggot have all produced catches to near 10lb. small skimmers to 8oz have also featured throughout the anglers catches. Bream and carp are not showing on the baits as the cooler winds come from the sea.
