Middle level again continues to show good form at the bottom end of the level between St Germans and Neepes, Ten mile has started to show some fish in some of the old favoured hot spots. St Germans through to Neepes has again been very popular during the last seven days, bream skimmers,roach,rudd and perch all showing well in the majority of the nets reported. tip anglers finding good quality catches with nets to 50 lb again reported this week, pole anglers also finding good mixed bags on the 9-14.5 meter line, plenty of ground bait is required to hold the fish when mixed slightly dry this produces a cloud giving the fish confidence to feed,maggot worm pinkie all finding the fish, hemp and tares also starting to produce quality nets of roach, Morton's-Pingles slightly less anglers at the top end but still good sport to be had. Tench showing more at this end, supported by skimmers and roach. Nets to near 40lb have been reported at this end. Could all anglers be aware that nets have been spotted at various locations on the level if any angler spots any ropes or polystyrene floats please contact the EA or the KLAA Hotline. Ten Mile a vast improvement on last weeks reports with fish showing at some of the favoured hot spots, catches over twenty pound have been recorded between Modney and the Chapel also between the Railway Bridge and the Wires, Danby and the Owl box has also been showing some form during the last week. Roach have been showing supported by skimmers to 2lb and bream to nearly 4lb, also the odd tench to 5lb, pole lines,whip and feeders have all produced good catches. Maggot, worm, caster pinkie have all been used with good effect on the hook. Tottenhill, another venue which has seen a good majority of anglers throughout the last week, plenty of carp showing with the best reported fish this week a 13lb 11oz mirror, one of 6 carp taken in just over an hour during an early evening session. corn and pellet being the preferred hook baits.Tench and bream also showing well during the last week. Shepherds Port , plenty of activity around from most of the lakes, Shepherds still being the dominant water with all species feeding strongly throughout a busy week, all methods finding the fish, maggot,pinkie,worm,caster,bread corn and meat, even boilies finding the bigger stamp carp. Bear Lake has also seen plenty of steady catches during a productive week. pellet.meat corn and maggot all finding the fish. pole,waggler and tip all finding carp between 2-7lb. Queens has not been as busy but the odd angler has enjoyed some good fishing with roach bream skimmers and the odd carp showing . Junior News, this weekend the Lynn squad are back in action at this years National on the Grand Union Canal at Milton Keynes, practise has gone well and all the anglers have prepared well.
