Another very encouraging week has been enjoyed by the anglers on both Shepherds port and Tottenhill, Tottenhill has been improving week by week with catch rates starting to climb, carp have been feeding more aggressively as the weather continues to be more stable, conditions have started to favour the angler as the winds have been very light causing just a small ripple on the water, ensuring the fish to feed more confidently. 8lb carp have been showing through out the week and into the weekend, but the general average is between 5 to 7lb. The method feeder both carp and match style has been successful again this week accounting for the majority of the better stamp fish caught, Bream are also feeding well and are also enjoying the method mixes that are being used to target the carp, sweet corn and pellet working well .

Shepherds Port, Bear Lake has seen a disappointing start to the season  with  catches being very slow, the odd fish has been showing but  no solid weights to report,
Shepherds Lake has continued to fish well throughout the last week catches of over 50 lb have been reported, bream being the more dominant catches, The carp have also been feeding at the top end of the lake, pegs 13,14 and 15 have been producing carp to 9lb. method feeders are reaping the rewards when presenting a piece of corn or a small 10 mm boilie on the hook.
Hard pellet either banded or hair rigged has also been selecting the carp. Bream and skimmers continue to feed well from the middle of the lake, tench and crucians have been showing at the bottom end of the lake at pegs 3,4, 5, 28,29,30, also good solid catches of roach and rudd with the odd small carp. maggot, 4mm pellet, and corn on the hook over a bed of sweet ground bait  has been selecting the better nets.
Junior News, The Lynn teams enjoyed a tough encounter on Sunday in the latest round of the east coast winter league, both the Lynn teams finished equal second , Sophie Williams  claimed a convincing victory to weigh in 52 lb 4oz , section wins went to Brendan Strowlger and Tom Cockle.
