Good to see that KLAA waters were the first selection for the team from Swindon undertaking the "The Great Charity Rod Race". 

The angling challenge is to raise funds in aid of the "Help the Hero's" compaign and follows the same idea as undertaking by Matt Hayes and Mick Brown on TV some years back.

Steve Jones and his merry team spent the weekend at Hilgay on the Cut-Off channel, but were up against high flows following the ending of 6 weeks freezing weather. Not from looking at thier kit did that matter, they could of feed and camped an army!

We wish them success in catching all the target species throughout 2011.
