Roach dominate on the Ouse

Ten Mile Bank, another good week on the banks of the Ouse with catches reported from all the normally prolific hot spots. Danby - Modney Bridge, plenty of roach being caught to 10 oz  plus a few bigger roach showing along with plenty of skimmers to a lb, a few big bream and tench have also been showing around the Modney Bridge.
Tip anglers and pole anglers have both been successful at this end of the river. Chapel- Browns another stretch which seems to be holding a fair few fish with both bream and tench showing well nets over 25lb have become quite consistant with bream tench roach and perch all showing in the catches, tip anglers proving more successful on this stretch.
Railway Bridge- Denver, very busy around the mouth with the odd carp showing to 12lb, bream to 6lb and tench just over 5lb reported, roach and perch also showing well. skimmers are showing more at the Denver end of the river but a few more roach have also started to show.
Middle Level, catches are still showing well on the more favoured areas of the level with Neepes and Crooked chimney leading the way, Pingles and Peters also attracting plenty of anglers all though roach are showing well at Peters, Mixed bags are being taken at Neepes and Crooked Chimney with skimmers and bream being the more dominant, the odd pike also showing to 7lb and perch to 2lb when using a small jelly lure.
Pingles- Aqueduct another stretch which is producing good quality nets to over 28lb tench and the odd bream showing also plenty of perch to nearly a pound. worm finding the better fish, maggot also working well.
Tottenhill/Shepherds Port, another good weeks sport from the main still waters, both fishing well with catches reporting well, best carp reported at Tottenhill was a 14lb 9oz mirror and a 13lb 6oz common, whilst at Shepherds Port a common of 13lb 3oz was reported also bream to 5lb showing on the tip. also plenty of silvers dominating the pole lines with nets to 14lb reported.
