Tottenhill, plenty of anglers around during the last seven days, plenty of fish showing including carp to 15lb, bream and roach also feeding strongly.
Again plenty of rubbish is being left all over the pegs and surrounding areas, it has been agreed by the klaa committee that if this litter continues to be left then the lake will be closed, it is the anglers responsibility to take there litter home and not leave it in the swims for somebody else to clear up, also could anglers please take home unused bait rather than throwing it into the water, please note that boilies are not to be used and this is clearly stated in the klaa permit books, if anyone is caught using boilies then there permit will be confiscated.
Middle Level, plenty of anglers finding the fish from most of the major hot spots, Peters- Neepes plenty of roach, skimmers, perch and the odd small bream to 3lb. All baits finding the fish but maggot, worm and seed attracting the better stamp of fish. Pole lines working well at 9-11 meters
with hemp now starting to single out the better roach, ground bait lines also proving favourable all though most fish are being taken slightly of bottom.
Crooked Chimney- Pingles still attracting plenty of anglers,
with good catches reported by the anglers, roach, skimmers, rudd and tench are showing at this end of the level most methods are finding the fish with no outright method being favoured, slider, feeder and pole all working well. maggot, worm and corn all attracting the fish.
Ten Mile Bank, another venue which continues to flourish with catches reported up and down the Great Ouse, roach showing at Danby Drove whilst Modney Bridge beginning to attract the odd angler. Small skimmers and small bream beginning to show with the odd small shoal of roach
Chapel- Wissey Mouth this again has been the most popular stretch on the Ouse with anglers finding the fish at both banks, corn and worm working well to the far side whilst maggots and corn finding the tench on the inside line. skimmers and the odd bream to 5lb have been showing during the early morning sessions.
Piggeries-Denver again fishing well with plenty of skimmers to 2lb showing on the tip and on the pole.
only the odd roach showing at this end of the Ouse.
Shepherds Port, plenty of anglers around during the last seven days with carp feeding strongly at the top end of the lake, bream feeding strongly at pegs 8-12  and opposite to the far side of the lake, roach to a lb showing at the bottom end of the lake.
Bear Lake still alot of activity throughout the week with catches reported to over 40 fish in a session, carp between  1lb to 6lb being the bulk of the fish caught
pole working well also small method feeders  finding the fish.
Visiting clubs have matches arranged on KLAA waters during the next seven days so could anglers be aware of these matches and not fish in the prebooked areas, boards will be placed at these match stretches  so the visiting clubs can fish in the stretch that they have booked. Toolbar AA have 6 pegs booked at both the middle level, mon, tues and thurs also pegs booked at Ten Mile Bank on wed, and friday.
Coaching, throughout the last 14 weeks Junior Secretary Billy Morris has been working continuously  trying to encourage anglers old and new onto the banks, during this time new young anglers have came to the fold and have shown potential to develop into the sport, during the last month alone 42 new anglers have shown an interest in the sport and have been part of the national fishing month programme in which Billy was at the helm, coaching development is an ongoing programme within KLAA but recognition is not always received, so special thanks goes to Billy Coolfor his gallant work during this very busy period.
