The rivers continue to show consistent form with many of the more popular hot spots showing plenty of fish, even the none familiar pegs are showing quality fish. Both Ten Mile Bank and Middle Level report weights of over 47lb. Ten Mile Bank, another busy week for the anglers on the. great Ouse as catch rates continue to improve week on week. Bream and skimmers continue to dominate the bulk of the net weights reported although carp and tench also reported this week. Denver to Piggeries, skimmers to 3lb and bream to 5lb showing on the tip all though pole anglers also finding the fish at range, Tip anglers finding the bigger shoals, whilst reporting nets to 43lb and pole anglers recording nets to near 35lb.Maggot, castor and worm all finding the fish, over a heavily ground-baited area. Wissey Mouth to the Chapel,Three carp to 15lb showing at the entrance to the mouth and also just upstream towards the bridge, method feeders finding the carp when presenting a banded pellet on the hook. Plenty of bream and skimmers also showing on the favoured pegs, tench over 7lb have also been reported. Nets over 50lb have been reported more than 3 times this week on this busy stretch. Chapel, skimmers to 2lb continue to feed aggressively along with the odd shoal of roach, perch and tench also showing strongly. both pole and feeder working well, another stretch which needs plenty of feed, caster maggot hemp and worm all finding the fish. Middle Level , St Germans to Peters plenty of fish showing at this end of the level roach, skimmers tench rudd and small carp to 5lb. waggler fishing up in the water finding the perfect method with nets to over 34lb recorded. roach showing well around the bridge pegs and towards the high road, hemp and tares now starting to select the bigger stamp fish with roach nets reported to near 18lb. Neepes to Crooked Chimney this area seems to be holding on to the bigger fish with bream reported to nearly 8lb. tench,skimmers and perch also showing well. corn and worm finding the bigger fish all though skimmers feeding well on red maggot.net weights reported to over 47lb Aqueduct to Pingle Bridge,also been very busy during the last seven days, roach and tench continue to show at this end of the level, skimmers also reported along with the odd bream, all angling methods finding the fish. Shepherds Port/ Tottenhill, all still waters attracting plenty of anglers during the last seven days, good reports have been received from all of the still waters. good solid catches have been recorded. Queens lake still proving to be very hard for anglers with very little rewards.
![]() Last Sunday saw KLAA running their contribution towards National Fishing Month at Tottenhill. In ideal conditions this turned out to be an excellent family day out, with mums and dads following in their children's footsteps by getting involved and learning the art of catching fish. Every new young angler was given equipment supplied by the environment agency, along with a certificate of merit for attending and goody bags donated from the ADB.
