The rivers have been producing quality fish during the last seven days, temperatures have been the problem for the anglers as the heat was to much during the midday sessions. Early morning sessions (first light)and late evening sessions providing the better fish although plenty of skimmers and tench have been reported.
Ten Mile Bank, again plenty of skimmers reported from the Denver End of the rivers, tip anglers being more fruitful than any other method, the odd roach also showing on the tip but pole anglers finding conditions difficult. Plenty of ground bait is the key when bulked up with crumb, maggot feeders also finding the skimmers, and the odd roach to 8 oz.
Wissey Mouth - Browns farm also saw plenty of anglers about during the last seven days, as catches have been improving week on week, Tench showing at 7-11 metres with best fish being reported to 7lb 11oz. Tip anglers again benefiting at this stretch as the skimmers seem to be between 1/2 and 3/4 the way across the river, eels have also been showing well, bream to 7lb showing at the mouth and at browns, but skimmers to 3lb have been the bulk of nets reported. Browns- Chapel has started to produce the odd roach shoals over ground bait,Hooked maggot and hemp finding the fish.
Middle Level, Skimmers to 2lb have been showing at Peters, through to St Germans, roach and rudd also showing at this end, another tip venue as pole anglers seem to be struggling for bites close in. plenty of ground bait is required to hold the fish, although evening sessions have been more rewarding, plenty of cloud cover during early Sunday morning produced skimmers and the odd bream to 6lb. Neepes- Crooked Chimney skimmers roach and tench showing along this stretch, bream to 5lb showing around Morton's Bridge, pole anglers been more successful at this end of the level with skimmers showing at 9 meters, corn, maggot and worm all finding the fish.
Aqueduct-Pingles, tench showing during late afternoon sessions, a few perch and roach also showing on both the tip and pole, whip methods also finding the fish.
Tottenhill, carp and bream showing well also plenty of roach taking pellets and corn, method feeder  working well amongst the margin swims, paste also selecting the better carp.
Shepherds Port, Nearly all the lakes producing fish although queens lake still very slow, shepherds, ken hill and bear lake all showing well, Roach, tench, bream, skimmers, crucians and rudd feeding strongly during different times of the day on Shepherds, Carp during early and late day sessions on Bear lake and Ken Hill plenty of feeding fish showing from the shadowed tree lined swims, roach and rudd being the bulk of the fish caught.
