Shepherds Port, Bear Lake now showing very good signs as catch rates up week on week, the 18lb carp which had not shown for over a year was caught in a strong midweek session along with a 12lb and a 10lb fish. also plenty of 4 pound plus fish showing along with plenty of silvers when fished for. Pellet and corn finding the better fish all methods working well. Shepherds lake continue to fish well with good catches reported from all around the lake, this year the tench are showing more frequently, also the crucians are putting in plenty of appearances. Carp continue to feed strongly supported by the big shoals of bream. nets over 60lb reported throughout the week. Tottenhill, Reopens on Saturday MAY 29th, this could open a few eyes to the anglers who have not seen all the improvements that have been done since the closure of the lake, Remember no entrance on the pit until after 5.45 am. No cars allowed on site. COACHING, if you want to learn how to fish, Coaching will be available at Shepherds Port Tomorrow 29Th May. 10am till 2.00 all junior anglers welcome, parents are also welcome
