Shepherds Port
Bear Lake, attracting plenty of anglers during the last seven days with catches reported from all around the lake, corn and  pellet now attracting the better fish to the swims although maggot used in early morning sessions has been proving successful. Corn tight to the island whilst feeding small micro pellet and soft hooker pellets working in the margin to middle swims.
Shepherds Lake very busy during the last week with all anglers finding their targeted species. no monster nets have been reported but catches have been showing to over 35lb with skimmers, bream and carp being the bulk of the catches, also plenty of tench showing around the lake towards the margins and around the island. crucians have also been showing this week when offered small pieces of punched bread.
Carp continue to move around with pegs now finding these fish moving closer to the margins and at 3 meters .

Juniors
Kings Lynn juniors finally became champions of the east coast winter league on Sunday. Lynn maintained there winning form and secured the championship by leading to 4 section wins, overall Jimmy Brooks continued his great run of form by winning with a big mixed net 65lb 7oz  of skimmers, chub, barbel ,tench and carp, 2nd place was Rocky Murley with another mixed bag for 55lb 12oz.  Section wins went to Kirsty Reed, Tom Cockle,Gary Harris, and Toby Pepper. On the individual front this was very tight going into the final as both Kirsty and Tom were joint leaders and Gary Harris was in fourth place. Tom secured victory followed closely by Kirsty, but Gary managed to hold off the challenge from two Lincoln anglers and overtake them both to leave Lynn with a one, two, three.  A feat never achieved in the east coast history. Results on the day 1st Place Kings Lynn 7 points, 2nd Lynn /Holbeach 8 points, 3rd Lincoln A  13 points
Final Result   1st Kings Lynn 58 points, 2nd Lincoln A 84 pts 3rd Lynn/Holbeach 90 pts. 4th Boston 123 points, 5th Lincoln B 139 pts.
I would like to congratulate the whole team for their fantastic hard work and commitment through a very tough winter series and also special  thanks to all the parents who have supported the juniors throughout this winter series. Without there continued support during a very cold winter and taking young anglers to the venues, thanks to you all.
The Juniors are in action again this weekend with the British Pole Champs at Dents.
