Bumper Week at Shepherds

Another great week was had by anglers fishing down at Shepherds Port with catches reported on all lakes , Plenty of anglers around during the week and into the weekend,
Bear Lake, has been reporting steady catches with up to 20 carp reported in some sessions, although the carp have been ranging between 2-5lb all methods working well tip anglers finding the better fish in open water whilst pole anglers are catching more frequently over a light bed of feed. corn and pellet are finding the better fish but red maggot also producing some steady catches.
Queens Lake, at last a few anglers around this week as the warmer westerly winds arrive, the odd bream taking a pair of red maggots on a smallish hook, also worm has started to produce bringing in the bream to 5lb, the odd carp also showing when using the method feeder, corn finding the fish.
Ken Hill another lake which has been attracting a few anglers during the last week, plenty of roach and rudd showing and also the odd small tench. great pleasure sessions have been reported with catches recorded to over 10lb.
Shepherds Lake, another bumper week reported with catches tipping the scales to near 60lb, also catches of 43lb and 51lb  reported,all parts of the lake are showing fish,  bream to 5lb being the bulk of the catches, also skimmers to nearly 2lb and tench to 3lb. Carp also showing to over 9lb caught on carp style methods, corn attracting the bream, carp on the pellet. maggot on the hook for the skimmers and silvers,
