Sunday saw the juniors from Lynn dig out there tackle and blow the cobwebs off with a tuff encounter on the River Steeping at Wainfleet, The juniors were looking  to hold on to the form which has seen  them sitting at the top of the leader board towards the end of 2009,

On a damp chilly day the Lynn youngsters started very brightly, with all catching fish well early on, as the day went on the opposition were finding the fish as frequently as the the Lynn side so weights were going to be crucial for the Lynn side to maintain its winning status. Jimmy Brooks was 1st with 9lb 6oz roach and the odd skimmer 3rd place went to Kirsty Reed 9lb 0oz roach and skimmers and sections wins for both Tom Cockle and Toby Pepper both weighing 8lb 6oz  This gave the Lynn side a well deserved victory and managed to pull away from rivals Lincoln by another 4 points,

Team Standings so far Kings Lynn 1st 36 points, 2nd Lincoln 51 points 3rd place Holbeach 63 points. 4th Boston 70 points, 5th Lincoln B 82 points 6th place Boston B 92 points.

Thanks to all the anglers from the Lynn sides.

Shepherds Port, feeder tactics working for the bream, fish meal ground bait with a double maggot presented on the hook, bream to 4lb have been reported, Pole lines not been very successful this week as the easterly winds arrived.

Ten Mile Bank, a few anglers about during the last seven days, some reports of roach and skimmers at modney towards the chapel, also predator anglers showing around the mouth towards the railway bridge and also along the browns farm to chapel stretch although no reports have been received of any predator catches.

Middle Level, only a handful of anglers showing on the level, Crooked Chimney has seen a few anglers along with anglers showing at Pingle Bridge, Neepes has also attracted an odd angler but catch weights have not been received although roach and skimmers were caught.

Little Ouse still running fairly hard as water levels are still creeping up. Pace of the water is still strong although fish have been seen topping between the bridge and the sunken boat.

Fish catches have been reported but flows have hampered conditions. no net weight received but roach,d ace and bleak have been reported.
