After another very different week with the weather contributing many factors for anglers, another dull week was forecast for the majority of KLAA waters, sadly both the Middle Level and Ten Mile Bank both seem to be struggling to find any form as only a couple of jacks have been reported from the middle level. Both waters seem to be running hard as plenty of rain has fallen during the last couple of weeks and both have a very good colour to the water but only a few anglers about during the last few days but the majority all struggling to find any real weights, small roach did show on the pole line at Modney, also local rod Mark Smith did manage to find skimmers and tench to form a net of near 21lb.

Little Ouse the favoured winter stretch for many of the river men in the winter. As temperatures start to drop off this venue starts to produce a very good days sport, plenty of fish now shoaling up around the bridge area and anglers have been kept busy on there chosen methods, Pole and whip anglers benefiting the most with nets reported to nearly 20lb, roach and rudd the main targeted species but plenty of dace and bleak to bulk up the nets.
Junior news,  The fourth round of the east coast winter league was held in Lincoln on Sunday at the showground. During a very blustery and wet start the fish were very hard to come by but as the rain faded away and a brief glimpse of the sun the fish decided to start feeding. Lynn managed to hold off the the strong Lincoln side and force a very strong joint 1st place with the home side.
Lynn/Holbeach managed the 1st 3 places a second time in the last 2 matches. 1st Place was Tom Cockle with 15lb 10oz,   2nd place was Tobby Pepper 8lb 12oz and 3rd place making his return to the club was Jimmy Brookes with 5lb 9oz also scoring a section win was Gary Harris.
Lynn still 9 points ahead of rivals Lincoln but Holbeach now closing in for 3rd place with some very good points picked during the last 2 rounds.
