A very quite week on KLAA waters as the weather took a turn for the worse sending anglers towards the comfort of there homes, Only the brave ventured out during a mixed week of high winds and driving rain.

At last the rain came hopefully putting some colour into the gin clear rivers, this is what us anglers have been waiting for.

Middle Level, only a few brave anglers around this week some struggling for bites at Peters, whilst still at Neepes skimmers and roach still being caught on the pole and on the tip, Perch also showing to the specimen anglers , small plugs and jelly worms producing perch over 2lb,

Ten Mile Bank, only Modney Bridge and the Chapel showing any positive signs of fish with roach and skimmers still taking the baits on offer, maggot and pinkie being the better baits to try over a dark ground bait mixed with crushed hemp. Perch  to a pound and the odd tench to 3lb also found close in on the pole lines, small sections of worm producing the goods.

Little Ouse, after the early good start, the fish have moved back upstream but a few fish caught towards the back end of the week, only the first five pegs after the bridge producing the fish. Pinkie and red maggot are the better baits to try, seed baits not working as yet.

Shepherds Port, Shepherds lake still producing good steady catches with roach, rudd and skimmers being the bulk of the fish caught, a few bream also showing over a micro pellet laced ground bait.

Bear Lake, starting to slow down at a rapid pace as catch rates start to drop off as temperatures drop, only a handful of anglers about , but not all proving successful.

NOTICE; Queens Lake and Ken Hill close for the remainder of the season on 22nd November.
