LAKE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Tottenhill pits will be closed to all anglers from Friday 16th October, The lake will remain closed until further notice, This was the action we at Kings Lynn AA did not want to take place but due to very low water levels and the welfare of the fish this was a decision that had to be made. The water levels have been dropping throughout the summer and concerns have been made about the welfare of the fishery, for more information and pictures of the water levels visit tottenhill-water-levels

Middle Level, not many anglers about on the level during the last week those anglers that did fish the level most were rewarded with some good catches, plenty of skimmers and roach showing at Peters and Neepes, maggot baits for best results, also a few decent  perch to just over 2lb showing at Crooked Chimney all caught whilst using little spinning baits. The odd tench showing at Pingles , but nets have been reported to over 18lb at Neepes and 12lb nets at Peters.

Ten Mile Bank, Danby Drove- Modney Bridge at last nets of roach reported to over 11lb 4oz whilst feeding pinkie and using both bronze and red maggot on the hook. plenty of small skimmers to 8oz showing on the pole line in the first couple of pegs after the bridge.
