Following the last 3 months without serious rainfall, the water levels at Totttenhill have reached critical levels. We have therefore decided to close the venue to fishing from Friday the 16th Oct until water levels return.

Clearly we want to look after the health of the fish during this time and with less than 24 inches of water remaining, putting additional strain on the fish needs to be avoided.

As can be seen from these pictures taken on the 11th Oct, actually fishing in front of the platforms on the gravel bed is also undermining the already loose platform structures, which will be repaired over the the weeks whilst the venue is closed.
