Middle Level, this week has started to slow down in most of the favoured spots, sport has been very healthy since the start of the season with many good nets reported from up and down the level. catches are still being recorded but the weights are slowly appearing to drop away. Sundays match on the level was won by Dave Lee, with a net of 8lb 3oz , 2nd place was Simon Porter with 7lb 6oz and 3rd place was Tim Foster with 6lb 14 oz . Elsewhere on the level the fish have shown between St Germans - High Road, roach, and skimmers being the main targeted spices , nets to 12 lb have been reported,Neepes- Crooked Chimney still a very popular venue with plenty of anglers around during the last week, nets being reported to 15lb skimmers, and roach are making the weights for the bulk of the nets, Specimen anglers are also finding a few fish with a pike reported to 11lb 3oz this week Aqueduct - Pingles , the odd tench showing to 5lb but small perch and roach being the main caught fish at this end of the level. Ten Mile Bank. roach nets being reported at Modney Bridge to 13lb 2oz, also plenty of skimmers showing on the pole lines , Rudd also showing at pegs around the bridge Chapel also quite busy during the last week as anglers practise for the eastern region shield, nets to 12lb being the average, pole lines and feeder methods working well, also anglers are changing to small bomb rods after the initial ground bait feed has gone in, also catching steadily skimmers roach and the odd bream showing on this line. maggot and worm for best results. Browns Farm - Railway Bridge also attracting a few anglers roach skimmers and perch on the pole, skimmers and bream on the tip both methods working steadily. nets to double figures reported. Piggeries, skimmers and roach showing on both lines, perch also showing at this end of the Ouse. ![]() Junior News, Lynn Juniors joined forces with Holbeach juniors on Sunday to compete in the Lincolnshire Championships at Boston on the Bargate drain, A team of juniors and a team of intermediates were entered in the event , both teams fished very well and eventually ran out winners in both age groups, Rocky Murley finished in 1st place closely followed by team mate Harry Blackmur who came in 2nd place, also fishing for the juniors were Luke Marchant and Marcus Clifton a great team performance, The Intermediates also ran out winners by beating host club Boston by a single point, Reece Dillamoor finished in 3rd place overall closely followed by team mate Kirsty Reed, this was supported by solid finishes for both Gary Harris and Tom Cockle also a great team performance.
