Ten Mile Bank, At last roach nets to double figures reported during the last week and towards the weekend, Roach shoals showing frequently around Modney Bridge area towards Browns Farm, pole anglers benefiting by fishing a long pole and holding the float back waiting for the bites. maggot and hemp working well, also a few bream also reported from around the railway bridge area, skimmers and tench showing at the piggeries, with nets of over 23lb reported, Wissey Mouth still a favoured venue amongst the anglers with most anglers catching on the tip around the mouth area. The odd bream to over 8lb showing also a few tench over 7lb reported. Kings Lynn AA held an open match on Sunday in preparation for the eastern region shield, only 11 anglers fished the match, Local Rod Tim Foster captured his second victory in succession with a catch of 7lb all roach, caught on the pole, 2nd place Will Gillard 4lb 10oz roach and skimmers, 3rd place was Simon Pointer 4lb 4oz roach. Middle Level, still fishing very well at most of the favoured areas, Peters still the most favoured spot at the moment with anglers catching well on both the feeder and the pole line. Tip anglers finding the skimmers some showing over 2lb whilst pole anglers are finding the quality roach when using hemp on the hook, elderberries and tares also singling out the better fish. Neeps - Crooked Chimney, also busy with anglers catching well on this stretch, nets to over 27lb reported, bream,skimmers, and roach are the main targeted species again seed baits baring the fruits for the better roach.Worm also finding the bream and the bigger skimmers. Tench are appearing more frequently on the Crooked Chimney Stretch. Aqueduct-Pingles quite quiet during the last week but the anglers who fished this area all found the fish. Roach,perch,skimmers,the odd bream and tench also showing. A few specimen anglers about this week on the level but no reports have been reported. Also it has been bought to the clubs attention that anglers are driving there cars on the banks of level this is breaking the rules which are clearly stated in the KLAA permits. Anyone caught breaking this rule could have their permit confiscated. Tottenhill/Shepherds Port both venues fishing well although the water level at Tottenhill is becoming very low ,if any angler see any fish in distress please contact any KLAA official. Shepherds Port still fishing very well with both Shepherds Lake and Bear lake showing plenty of good sport. all methods working , bream carp skimmers roach and rudd all showing in shepherds lake and nets to over 47lb reported, Bear lake also fishing well with anglers reporting as many as 40 fish in a single session.
