Ten Mile Bank: Another patchy week on the Great Ouse. Fish slowing appearing to feed but very slow in most areas. Denver and Wissey Mouth: Skimmers and the odd bream showing to the tip anglers, some pole anglers finding skimmers at 11 metres. Tench also showing on this line over a corn-fed swim topped with worm and caster. A couple of jacks now trying to take the roach as they are being brought in. Wissey to Browns Farm: Bream showing on this stretch during the cloud cover, roach on the seed baits and skimmers showing to the tip with double red maggot on the hook. No big weights reported this week but most anglers catching on most methods. Browns to Modney Bridge: Anglers now starting to fish this end of the Ouse. Roach and skimmers around on both pole and feeder, hemp/seed sorting the bigger roach, maggot and small pieces of worm working. Also a couple of anglers on the bread punch catching steadily.
Middle Level: Pingles to Aqueduct: Still signs of plenty of fish, good roach nets reported, also a few tench showing to over five pounds. Also the odd double figure pike showing at this end of the level.
Aqueduct to Crooked Chimney: Very busy during the last week, all anglers catching well. Skimmers, bream, roach, tench and even a carp reported during the week. Tip anglers bearing the fruits this week. Morton's to High Road: Plenty of roach showing on the seed baits, hemp and elderberry being the more favoured baits. Worm and caster still attracting the skimmers and the odd bream. Pole anglers also catching strongly when using the seed. Nets to over 33lb reported. Peters to St Marys: Plenty of anglers around at this end of the Level all catching well as most baits are producing plenty of fish. Roach, rudd and skimmers being the main targeted species Match Dates

Junior news
The juniors fished at Lindhlome Lakes at Doncaster in the Njaa National on Saturday. After a cold week and strong winds, water temperatures dropped and the fishing was very hard on all the lakes. Harry Blackmur and Tom Cockle were the top rods for the Lynn youngsters, all the squad fishing very well in tough conditions.
