Middle Level, busy at most favoured hot spots during the last week with all anglers catching well, all methods working. St Germans- Magdelan High Road, plenty of fish showing plenty of skimmers and the odd bream, roach and rudd ,small sections of worm and maggot baits working well. Neepes-Crooked Chimney, Local rod Mark Smith finding the fish again this week with a massive haul of roach to 58lb using the whip method, other anglers also finding the fish with plenty of skimmers,and perch. also tench to over 6lb reported. Pingles Bridge, another busy venue during the last week with anglers catching well at this end of the level. Tip anglers bearing the fruits with tench reported to over 7lb and a few bream to 6lb showing when using worm topped with corn. Ten Mile Bank, no massive nets reported this week but plenty of anglers catching at all areas of the Great Ouse. Bream showing at nearly all the stretches but anglers struggling to catch more than two or three. Denver - Piggeries, plenty of skimmers showing to 2lb on the tip also the odd bream and tench, nets to over 36lb being the more consistent at this end. Wissey Mouth- Browns Farm, plenty of anglers around on this favoured stretch all reporting fish being caught, again the odd couple of slabs showing but then the skimmers move in. tench to 5lb on the inside, perch to over 2lb showing away from the mouth. Browns - Chapel a few roach now appearing, skimmers, and perch being the bulk of the nets. Weights to over 18lb being the average. Tottenhill, very busy , but anglers catching well on the method, carp showing to sweetcorn and maize bream also targetting the method mix. biggest carp reported this week 14lb 4oz mirror. Shepherds Port ![]() All lakes fishing well, Queens lake not many anglers around during the last week but of those who did fish the lake the bream were found, Local rod Billy Morris found a few slabs during a morning session with the biggest being 7lb 2oz and the smallest 6lb 4oz (picture enclosed)Shepherds Lake, the inform water at the moment with average nets to over 40lb reported. Lynn angler Martin Chandler had a net busting weight of over 100lb, his catch consisted of 4 double figure carp, 5 to 7lb and bream to 4lb (picture enclosed of a double figure carp) also reports from the bailiff at shepherds a 18lb common was also landed from this lake. Bear lake also reported to be fishing well with good hauls to over 60lb reported. NOTICE, klaa juniors have a match at Ten Mile bank tomorrow 30 pegs against Dynamite Baits. so the stretch between Browns Farm and the Railway Bridge will be closed for the match. KLAA Juniors were in action at the weekend in the Manor Lake Shield at Tydd St Giles golf course, lynn anglers dominated the field in both sections. In the under 14 section Rocky Murley scooped 1st place with a net of 33lb 4oz , in the under 18 section Tom Cockle won with a net of 34lb 10oz. KLAA will be hosting part of the national eastern region on the great ouse along with Littleport on October3rd, Lynn will be holding 3 opens in preparation for this event, all klaa members will pay no pegging fee just the pools of £5.00 whilst non members will pay £3.00 pegging fee plus £5.00 pools. Saturday 29th August Browns farm stretch. Sunday 13th September Chapel Stretch. Saturday 26th September pegs 147-182. (watersmeet) Draw times will 7:30 am.
