Shepherds Port, still very busy on both bear lake and shepherds lake. Anglers gathering on shepherds lake waiting in anticipation for what grabs hold of the hook, carp feeding strongly,bream also taking any bait that's on offer ,the odd tench close in have been taking maggots and the cruicians showing on small cubes of meat. Very good mixed bags reported with nets to over 43lb during the week.

Bear lake now starting to fish well as the carp are now feeding strongly after the spawning, nets to over 59lb reported during the week, corn, pellet and paste now starting to attract the better stamp fish. plenty of little carp showing  but to get to the bigger stamp you have to feed off the little ones.

Queens lake has seen a few more anglers this week all reporting catches of bream.Bream to 6lb being the average, corn and worm proving to be the better bait on the hook.

For the river men the wait is finally over so hopefully some good early catches and reports from the river scene next week.
