1500 small mirror and common carp along with 300 mirrors of between 8-14oz have been purchased from Mainstream Fisheries to replenish the larger fish cropped in December. The committee has agreed a strategy as laid down by the Environment Agency to increase the stocking density to that of commercial fisheries and adopt an annual management regime to keep stocking densities at this level whilst cropping out the larger fish. This will hopefully ensure anglers can have even greater success and enjoyment.
