Marks Perch 4lb 12ozAgain a better week to report as plenty of anglers around during the week and at the weekend , also a predator on one of our waters.
This weeks weather bought out the anglers and some of the klaa waters did fish well despite the recent cold weather.
Little Ouse, this little river continues to maintain its form as anglers catch well, with nets reported to over 20lb. Roach, rudd ,bleak and dace continue to feed strongly over a bed of ground bait , maggot working well as seed baits start to fall away
River Wissey, plenty of fish around from both sides of the bridges, the meadow now producing the odd bream and plenty of skimmers. roach and perch. whilst the A10 side continues to be a more dominant roach side with the odd chublet and dace. Nets reported to 18lb 6oz from the A10 side and 17lb 9oz from the village side.
Ten Mile Bank. Slight improvement on this vast stretch of water as some anglers reap their rewards, Local Rod Mark Smith back on the bank again, soon recaptured his old form to land a fish of a lifetime on Tuesday a  perch weighing in at 4lb 12oz (picture enclosed) also on Monday he landed 3 tench biggest being 6lb with a net weight of over 14lb.
Elsewhere on TMB catches of roach and skimmers at the railway bridge , skimmers and the odd tench at the mouth, roach and perch from Modney Bridge.best net weight reported was 14lb 6oz .
Middle Level,a few anglers about between Peters and the High road, also at Neepes and Crocked Chimney some roach, and skimmers were caught but no net weights reported.
Relief Channel, KLAA chairman Kelvin Allen was happily fishing away  on the channel when he suddenly got a shock from  a seal munching its way through a pike.He also claims that he did get a run which maybe was from the seal picking up his bait. Anglers who fish the channel  beware of the seal and do not attempt to try to catch it. picture enclosed.Preditor on the Channel
Tottenhill/Shepherds Port both venues starting to see a few more anglers aroundand a few carp did show at Tottenhill and the odd couple of carp did show at bear lake as the temperatures stared to rise. Shepherds lake again plenty of silvers around and  the odd skimmer .
