At last a decent week to report from nearly all the venues from the KLAA area.

Ten Mile Bank, at last showing some good sport during the week and Saturday but plenty of anglers were put of the fishing on Sunday as the rain moved in. up until that point plenty of anglers about and all catching quality fish with some good net weights recorded,Modney Bridge starting to show with good signs of roach and skimmers nets to 18 lb reported from this favourable winter stretch. Maggot and pinkie working well over a tight area of ground bait. Chapel stretch, also producing well with plenty of skimmers and roach showing , also a couple of tench and bream have put in an appearance. nets reported to 22lb during the week.Railway bridge also plenty of silvers around with seed baits working well, predator anglers also catching a few good fish from around this area.Wissey Mouth still a popular spot for quite a few members, a few tench have shown this week as have some quality bream to 8lb ,nets reported to near 60lb, also skimmers and roach, over a dark ground bait with squat mixed in.Piggeries to Denver, quite a few fish topping from this area but they seem quite reluctant to take a bait, only a hand full of fish reported. Danby and the owl box has been quite busy as of late, with plenty of roach bags reported  all methods working particular the tip with a light bomb.

River Wissey starting to fish well from Hilgay with plenty of fish topping and even some chub have been caught during the last week.

Cut Off Channel, a couple of reports in this week that a few tench have been caught but no weights were given, but at least a few fish have shown.

Little Ouse, started to come into life as anglers start to trek down to this old winter stomping ground, good nets of roach, rudd, dace , and bleak.

Middle level. Plenty of fish reported from up and down the level with even the predator anglers starting to arrive in search off there preferred species. Pingles to the Aquaduct seems a favourite with the local anglers as good nets of tench and skimmers and bream reported. nets to nearly 33lb recorded, Crooked Chimney again a popular venue this week as plenty of anglers about , bream responding well to the beds of bait  but changing baits is a must worm, maggot and caster all working well.Neeps to the High Road plenty of fish reported but all skimmers and roach close in on the pole lines from 7 metre to 9 metre lines, worms also bringing in the bigger stamp roach at about 11meters.Peters to St Marys a bit slower up this end bit still fish caught, good rudd, roach, perch and tench but all decent single fish.

Tottenhill, still attracting the anglers but the fish have started to slow down a bit but plenty of silvers when feeding maggot,

Shepherds Port shepherds, queens and ken hill all fishing well but bear lake still very patchy.

Match Dates Little Ouse will be closed tomorrow for a match, 18 pegs.

Sunday Downham Market ac have a match booked at Modney Bridge  12 pegs
