Ten Mile joins level as hotspot
Ten Mile Bank, plenty of anglers about on the Great Ouse this week as the rain held off but plenty of cloud cover and mild temperatures bought the anglers out to the banks. Good net weights recorded from all the popular stretches. Denver to the Piggeries, plenty of skimmers and roach with a few big slabs thrown in all caught on the tip, nets to 35lb reported.
Runcton Holme AC held their match on Sunday on this stretch Dave Burton winning with 8lb 10oz, all on the tip (skimmers and roach) 2nd place was Paul Wright 6lb 9oz skimmers and roach and 3rd place was Sam 6lb 8oz. 
Piggeries to Wissey Mouth/ Railway Bridge also very busy during the last week with plenty of fish about including some good sized tench. Bream to 6lb tench to 8lb and skimmers to 3lb also plenty of roach perch and the odd carp to 5lb 4oz. Pole method working well at 9 to 13 meters, waggler also working well but feeder styles reaping the rewards.
Railway Bridge to Browns farm producing plenty of fish, bream showing on the bend to the bridge also plenty of fish close in and a variety of baits working well on the tip. decent sized roach and skimmers, seed, elderberry, corn, maggot and worm producing well.
Chapel to Modney Bridge very busy as of late with plenty of anglers taking to this popular hotspot.
Seed, maggot, pinkie all picking up the fish, feeder and polelines working well.
Middle Level, continuing to fish very well in places nets to 28lb recorded from crooked chimney also 23lb 5oz reported from St Mary,s to Peters. Specimen anglers are also catching from this hotspot. Peters to Neepes, good fishing to be had once the fish start feeding ground bait holding the fish in the swim, castor,maggot, working well at all depths. Nets to 22lb recorded.
Aqueduct to Pingles slower than of late but plenty of fish around, all methods working well.
Shepherds Port, Bear Lake, plenty of fish caught during the last week as the carp start to feed more frequently nets to 62lb reported  also a couple of the bigger fish have started to show. A  14lb 10oz mirror and a 12lb 9oz common have made an appearance this week.
Queens Lake plenty of bream still showing on the tip and still taking a liking to the worm baits on offerm nets to 49lb 6oz recorded.
Shepherds lake still one of the best silver fish lake for miles, pleasure nets to 11lb recorded with plenty of skimmers roach and rudd feeding strongly. Also the bigger bream showing to form a good net weight of 53lb.

Notice. Ten Mile Bank.  Stretches from Modney Bridge to Denver will be closed to the public angler on October 4th due to the club hosting the NFA Eastern Region Shield.
