ENCOURAGING SIGNS AT TEN MILE BANKTen Mile Bank: at last the fish are now starting to show on some stretches of this normally prolific water. Wissey Mouth still showing good signs for the bream and carp with the odd roach and perch also making an appearance. Chapel Stretch to Modney bridge at last starting to produce the fish as Nevile Tillson found out with a mixed bag of skimmers, roach perch to a net of 19lb also other anglers reporting nets to 14lb of mixed silvers some including a few tench. Middle Level: continues to be the best reported river at the moment as catches reported up and down the level with a few surprises thrown in. St Marys to Magdalen High Road producing some very good net weights and some odd big fish fish showing .bream to 7lb and tench to 8lb. Plenty of skimmers and roach showing on the seed bait. High Road to Crocked Chimney, plenty of skimmers and bream, good quality roach and the odd tench. Peter Spriggs had a surprise package with a carp to 15lb 6oz at Neepes whilst using a centre pin rod and playing this fish for a good twenty minutes. Peter had already had a tench earlier to 7lb so this wasn't a bad brace to pick up. Crooked to Pingle also producing the quality fish with nets to 26lb reported and bream to 6lb and tench to 8lb, feeder tactics working well, pole lines also proving favourable for the skimmers and roach. There is a match at Peters Bridge tomorrow 20 pegs between a select Kings Lynn team against the adults and juniors of the junior superteam. Runcton Holme AC have a match at Ten Mile on Sunday at the Chapel Stretch 15 pegs. NOTICE: Could all anglers be aware that no vehicles are allowed on the banks at the Middle Level, Relief Channel, and the Cut off Channel. Tottenhill: still performing well as catch rates start to pick up again, still plenty of anglers about despite the ban of keepnets good weights recorded and the best reported fish was a 10lb 8oz mirror. NOTICE: Could all anglers please take their litter and waste bait home as there has been a vast amount of rubbish left on some of the pegs around the lake. Please note that night fishing is NOT permitted at Tottenhill as stated in the klaa permit . Shepherds Port: plenty of fish about on all lakes, Queens lake, KLAA bailiff Bill Morris has had over 100lb of bream in 2 sessions on this popular bream lake during the week Bill had a net of 58lb 8oz comprising of 11 bream and a handful of skimmers, then again on Sunday another big net of 49lb 1oz all caught on the tip using worm on the hook. Ken Hill also producing the quality roach and rudd as plenty of anglers took to this canal stretch good nets to 15lb reported all methods working but pole and whip anglers benefiting more on light tackle. maggot baits working well.
