Entry into the Lincolnshire Championships Boston Bargate Drain. Lynn juniors and Holbeach juniors became a amalgamated junior team for the Lincolnshire champs, the juniors of lynn couldn’t fish under there name as we are not in the Lincolnshire region. But with the merger of both junior clubs we managed to feild both a junior and intermediate team, This was a fantastic day for both teams who secured both the junior lincs champs and the intermediate lincs champs narrowly beating host club Boston in the inters and Lincoln in the juniors. Junior captain Rocky Murley led the way home by securing a 1st place overall closely followed by team mate Harry Blackmur for 2nd place to gain a fantastic one and two. This was supported by fellow team members Luke Merchant and Marcus Clifton. In the intermediate section Boston scooped a one two in the individual race but didn’t manage an overall performance as the team held togetherand produced a resounding victory with Reece Dillamore , Kirsty Reed and Gary Harris all gaining valuble section wins also supported with a strong finish in his section was Tom Cockle this was enough to take the championships away from the holders and on there own water. Team Squads for the day were Juniors, Rocky Murley, Harry Blackmur, Luke Merchant, Marcus Clifton. Inters , Reece Dillamore, Kirsty Reed, Gary Harris, and Tom Cockle. |

June it was back to the hard work of preparing for the u18 carp championships , preparations went well throughout all the sessions and all methods were tried and tested, Sadly for myself and chud going fishing was starting to be a chore as we were getting battered by the juniors at nearly all the different carp venues we fished. The under 18 National was held at Lindholme Lakes Doncaster, this was our first time at the lakes and we was not disappointed with what we saw. 10 Lakes all stocked heavily with carp, tench, chub, barbel, bream , also plenty of f1s so as we practiced on the Friday things looked quite promising for the juniors and after a night s camping and full hearty breakfast in the morning the kids were eager to attend the draw. Unfortunately this venue being booked at the last minute due to the other venue letting us down all 100 anglers were placed on 2 lakes , 70 anglers on oasis lake and 30 anglers on Beeches lake. This was the first time 70 pegs were used on this venue and the catches were doomed as there were to many anglers on the lake . Top rods of the day were Rocky Murley , Harry Blackmur, and Tom Cockle. National u18 carp squad, Kirsty Reed, Reece Dillamore,Tom Cockle, Gary Harris, Harry Blackmur, Rocky Murley, Keiron Woolhouse. |

In April we entered the British Pole Championships which was held at a nearby Fishery (dents farm) unfortunately we had a torrid time as a team with all of our anglers being placed on pegs which are not normally fish catching swims, but we did not disgrace ourselves and finished in the top half of the competition, Teams on the day were gold team, Reece Dilamore, Kirsty Reed, Tom Cockle, Damien Evans, Gary Harris, and Harry Blackmur. |
