Hilgay Parish Council request that anglers fishing in the village should park in the car park opposite the old Fairfield garage. There is a further car park behind the Cross Keys PH

Small, attractive fast flowing navigable river best fished in winter.

Prime roach venue, on any float method. A great river for lure fishing for pike and little spinners for big perch.

Best access Hilgay Village from the A10 King’s Lynn - Ely Road.

Parking is not allowed adjacent to the moorings. No fishing on the moorings, that run along the North Bank from the A10 bridge, these are leased by Denver Cruising Club.
